Be Aware!
Don't
fall into the trap of thinking there are only two ways to sell
your home.
A traditional commission agent or selling on your own.
There is a better choice. A
choice that gives you the best of both worlds.

Remember
when using the services of a traditional agent, there are really
two fees/commissions involved when listing your home for sale.
One is for listing your home (usually 3%) and the other is for
finding a buyer for your home (usually 3%) or a total commission
of 6%.
Unfortunately,
under the existent real estate brokerage system that governs
most home-sales contracts, there's NO way you'll ever escape
paying this 3% commission to the 'buyer's agent'--and little
chance that your OWN 'listing agent' will cut you any
substantial break on the similar-size commission that's
typically due them as well (for the listing).
But do know that though this WILL BE the
case when you use a 'TRADITIONAL' agent as your listing agent,
the fact of the matter is that using a 'traditional agent'
(who's compensated via the standard 'commission system') IS NOT
the only choice you have when you set-out to sell your home.
This is in fact a very big MISCONCEPTION which most sellers are
under. Sellers who don't know about FRR. And it's only ONE OF
MANY MISCONCEPTIONS that can potentially lead sellers into
making less-than-optimal decisions when putting up their home
for sale.
